The Center for Puppetry Arts' mission is to inspire imagination, education and community through the global art of puppetry. The Education Department provides workshops, puppet-building activities and community outreach, and the award-winning Distance Learning program presents virtual workshop and puppet shows. The museum has the largest collection of Jim Henson puppets and artifacts anywhere in the world a global collection outlining puppetry traditions from around the world and a rotating special exhibit focusing on such topics as Labyrinth and India.
